At Code Together Academy, a passionate teacher and an experienced software engineer have joined forces to create an exciting new learning experience focused on all things tech — with coding at its core. Our mission is to make tech education accessible, engaging, and practical for everyone. Based in the heart of Sheffield, we offer dynamic, hands-on courses for both teenagers and adults, helping learners gain real-world skills and confidence in today’s digital world.
Our Curriculum
At Code Together Academy, for our Young Coders course our curriculum is rooted in the UK Computing Curriculum — but we go beyond the classroom by making it fun, interactive, and deeply engaging. While covering key digital literacy and IT concepts, we place a stronger emphasis on Computer Science, giving students the solid technical foundations and problem-solving skills needed to thrive in a tech-driven future.Our sessions are packed with creative challenges, real-world coding projects, and group activities that bring concepts to life and keep learning exciting.
For adults, we offer flexible, part-time courses designed to fit around work and life. Whether you're switching careers or just starting out, our beginner-friendly approach will teach you how to code from scratch, building confidence and competence every step of the way.
Location
We’re proudly based at Umix Centre just off London Road, right in the heart of Sheffield, accessible location that’s easy to reach by public transport or car.
Our Young Coders classes are held onsite, providing a focused and collaborative environment where students can learn, create, and connect in person.
For our Adult Courses, we offer maximum flexibility. Whether you prefer learning online from the comfort of your home or face-to-face in a classroom setting, we tailor the experience to suit your schedule and learning style.
